Our 1989 Ferrari 348 tb features a classic Rosso Corsa (red) exterior paint (color code FER 300/9) and a black leather interior with a black dashboard, steering wheel and door panels. This 348 is the “tb” variation of the model which offers the most classic mid-engine V8 look of its generation.
Exterior
Often referred to as the “Baby Testarossa”, the 348 is a blast to drive thanks to a low center of gravity, a torque-y mid-engine V8 design, rear-wheel drive and, of course, a traditional manual transmission with an iconic gated shifter. Barely weighing over 3,000 lbs and pushing 300 HP, it’s a ton of fun to drive – even by today’s standards!
This is a European specification model which happens to be one of the first 100 Ferrari 348s built (assembly #00087)!
Interior
The car’s interior is very clean with very minimal wear and tear throughout the cabin. Its black leather is in great shape with little fading, no tears or cracks. No odors.

Engine & Performance
The Ferrari 348 is powered by a wonderful 3.4L V8 engine producing 300 HP. The engine idles very well, revs smoothly and pulls as hard as it did in 1989. The car drives very well with absolutely no mechanical issues to report. No lights on the dash or strange noises either.
It features a 5-speed manual transmission with an iconic Ferrari gated shifter. Truly a vert rewarding gearbox and an essential element of what a classic Ferrari should feel like.
It’s currently rolling on Continental tires (215/40 R17 front, 255/45 R/17 rear) are in good shape. Brakes too.
History & Condition
The last major service was performed at Ferrari Maserati Quebec in August 2012. This nearly $19,000 work order included a timing belt replacement, new brakes, electrical fixes and much more (bills available). We have Ferrari service records from 2012-13.
The car has been driven less than 1,500 miles since then with absolutely no mechanical issues. It feels great on the road.
Another timing belt service is not necessarily required although many Ferrari specialists recommend changing your car’s timing belt every 4-5 years, regardless of mileage in that time span. We are happy to perform any mechanical work on the vehicle prior to delivery, however, a delay should be expected as a result. We understand that some buyers prefer doing work themselves for quality control and pricing reasons.
This is a Euro-spec car with only 2 previous owners and a clean CarFax report. Owner’s manual included.
Body & Paint
There are a few scuffs and imperfections on the lower parts of the car’s paint, front and rear bumpers specifically. The driver door has a less than 1 inch chip at the edge (see photo); we can have this fixed upon request prior to delivery.
The lower plastic lip is in good shape with only the expected lower edge scrapes that are often inevitable. There is a paint chip on the lower lip as well. A quick repaint of the lips would make it look brand new again. This lip is quite low to the ground and does have a tendency to scrape; if you intend to use the car regularly, it may not be worth repainting right away – your choice!
