This 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS comes in a classic Ferrari color configuration: “Rosso Corsa” exterior paint combined with a tan leather interior. The “GTS” version of the Ferrari 328 features a removable black targa top for open air enjoyment. The roof is in good shape and can be removed in a few seconds and neatly stored behind the seats.
This is a running, driving 328 that needs a bit of love to really shine. It’s in good shape but it’s not perfect, we’ve priced the vehicle accordingly.
Exterior
The 328 is considered by many enthusiasts to be one of the most reliable and functional Ferraris; unlike other models, much of its maintenance can be performed without lowering the engine from the vehicle.
Interior
The interior shows expected wear and tear but is in pretty good shape given the car’s mileage. A few minor leather stretches and some small tears in the car’s interior leather (see photo gallery).

Engine & Performance
The Ferrari 328 is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2L V8 engine, similar but larger than the powerplant Ferrari put in the 308 Quattrovalvole. It produces 270 hp and 231 lb-ft of torque. Power is transferred through a 5-speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive.
The car is currently in good running and driving condition, starts up without hesitation.
History & Condition
This isn’t a collector car or a garage queen, it’s a driver or a fantastic project car. The car was driven quite often and loved by its owners over time and must have been well maintained to keep it going strong for all these years. Unfortunately, we don’t have any service history or records on hand.
This is a US-spec car that was primarily owned in and around San Diego, California until about 2009. The car’s odometer currently reads 15,440 miles, although it is likely that the mileage is 115,440 miles (odometer only shows 5 digits). Unfortunately, we can’t verify the car’s true mileage with 100% certainty. Clean CarFax report & title.
Body & Paint
The car’s body is straight with no real issues other than the paint needing some love. Paint has some scratches, rock chips on the front end and some small dents and scuffs here and there.
No rust or major damage on the body. Lower black lip shows wear; some curb rash on the wheels too.
Given the car’s high expected mileage, it’s in surprisingly good shape and would lead us to believe that it must have done a lot of highway mileage, in beautiful Southern California conditions.
