The vehicle was involved in an accident shortly after it was originally purchased in 1992 and was labelled a total loss in 1993. Although the vehicle could be repaired safely, it was common practice at the time to write off high-end new vehicles with expensive new parts.
The original owner decided to repair the vehicle despite the “total loss” label in 1993, bringing it back to life. The car has been driven and enjoyed ever since without any issues over the last 27 years.
